Annamaria skilfully weaves aspects of yoga philosophy and physiology into her asana and pranayama classes. Along with delicious and nourishing food, you are guaranteed to leave this retreat feeling on top of the world.

Dates: 12th to 17th March 2021

Where: Lower Largo, Fife

Cost: £590, including accommodation, classes and meals.

Format: Three classes per day. Three vegetarian meals per day plus dinner on arrival, and breakfast and one class on the last day. Departures by 10am. Maximum of 19 participants.

Deposit: £200 at the time of booking. Non-refundable unless you can find someone to replace you, or we have a replacement from the waiting list.

Venue: The retreat is located in an impressive building by the sea, converted to offer a modern space for yoga and relaxation.  Accommodation in twin rooms, most en-suite.

Level: Two years’ practice expected.



About Annamaria

Annamaria started practising Iyengar Yoga in 1991.
She first qualified in 2000 as an Introductory teacher and is now an Iyengar Yoga Intermediate Junior 3 teacher (2010).
She has studied regularly for the last 15 years with Firooza Ali Razvi, has attended teachers seminars with Christian Pisano and June Whittaker Pisano in France and  the UK,  and in recent years with David Meloni.

Annamaria attended a three years course on how to deal with injuries in the context of a general class, led beautifully by Stephanie Quirk. Prior to that, Annamaria studied with the Iyengar family in Pune, in Mumbai with Senior Iyengar yoga teachers and in the UK with senior Iyengar yoga teachers from India, the UK, America and the Continent.

Her teaching voice focuses on encouraging an individual spirit of listening, of enquiring, of feeling through the body to reach the soul. Her main teaching ambition is to foster independent feeling discerning spirits.

Annamaria is also a craniosacral therapist and has studied core process psychotherapy.
