NATURALLY CREATIVE IN THE SCOTTISH BORDERS – 16th-19th April 2026

I often get told ‘ You are SO creative!’, followed by ‘I am not creative at all etc…’
I believe creativity is a gift we all have and all we need to do is to have the space and freedom to allow it to blossom. The space I am going to offer for this is held by mother nature, as always, in the beautiful Scottish Borders, surrounded by trees, in a beautiful eco-home near West Linton.
Prompts will be given every day, and space to be. Often in that being something happens, something might draw our attention….do I want to learn more about it, do something with it, just notice that I notice it and it makes me smile? It all goes.
From my part, I will offer some guided meditation, walks, foraging and making, tasting, drawing as a way to connect to the senses. movement if the weather allows -in the beautiful lawn outside. Each day there will three sessions, exploring how to connect to your senses in different way. Booking link here

NATURALLY CREATIVE IS GROWING LEGS AND HANDS THIS YEAR :
NATURALLY CREATIVE ON THE ISLAND OF GIGHA 12TH-14TH June 2026 Non-residential.
This is a non-residential only retreat. It is a collaboration between the island ranger and Annamaria. One part will be ranger walks and talks and the other the sensory world of nature and art. All materials provided. Bring walking boots and rainproof gear just in case 🙂
Here is a bit about the wonderful Casey-Jo:
Casey-Jo has been the Countryside Ranger on the Isle of Gigha since 2020, she has been working to protect the island’s natural and cultural heritage, and most recently gained a Level 8 Forest & Outdoor Learning Award focusing on wellbeing and nature connection. Her passion is facilitating wonder in the natural world, forgetting the facts and interpreting our environment through feeling and promoting the mutual benefits of a relationship with the world around us. Everyone asks her “what is your favourite animal?”… Well the answer has to be the bumblebee, one of the most sensitive creatures to their environment and their community – and they have fluffy bums!
Cost: £280 inclusive of Dinner on arrival on Friday, lunch and dinner on Saturday and lunch on Sunday. All meals are vegetarian.
